On October 29, I went to a concert of my favorite Australian band called Tame Impala. If you haven't heard of them, they are a four piece psychedelic rock band that consist of Kevin Parker (vocals and lead guitar), Dominic Simper (guitar and synth), Jay Watson (drums and backing vocals), and Nick Allbrook (bass) who later joined in 2010. They play some awesome psychedelic music. A few months earlier, I bought their debut album, Innerspeaker. It also my first vinyl records that I bought and I love it. Even my dad love it too.
At first, I didn't have any friends to go to the concert until one of my last.fm friend told me that he wanted to watch the concert too. So, I decided to go with him. At the venue (Bengkel Night Park), I met him and his Singaporean friend (her name is Ili) a few hours before the concert start. I was sixteen years old when eighteen years old or above is the legal age that allowed by the promotor. Surprisingly, I passed. They didn't ask for my ID!
The concert was very awesome and I went to the backstage to meet all of them. I met them. I took pictures with all of them. They signed my record sleeve of their album (except Dom). Nick Allbrook drew a tree just for me. Nick Allbrook hugged me and put his head on my head. He even helped me to get Kevin's autograph (He talked to Kevin just for me! He said "Yeah, I'll fucking do it for you!").
